boAt Airdopes 141 Gen 2 vs Airdopes 219: specs compared
Specs from boAt’s official product and support pages, the Airdopes 219 Amazon India listing and the 141 Gen 2 boAt listing. A ✓ marks the better spec on paper for that row (equal rows have no mark). Battery figures are boAt’s claims. Amazon’s spec table for the 219 lists 10mm drivers and 40ms latency, but boAt’s own spec sheet and the listing bullets say 13mm and 45ms, so we use boAt’s figures.

Verdict: Airdopes 141 Gen 2 or Airdopes 219?
Get the boAt Airdopes 141 Gen 2 if you want the most battery for the least money. 48 hours with the case, 180 minutes from a 10-minute charge and two EQ modes make it the better everyday pair for college, office calls and the gym. Bought from boAt’s own site, it also gets 12 + 3 months of warranty.
Get the boAt Airdopes 219 if you spend your evenings on YouTube, OTT or games like BGMI and Free Fire. The 13mm drivers and 45ms BEAST mode are its two real advantages, and the case refills in under two hours. 40 hours of total playback is still plenty for most people.
For calls it’s a tie on paper: both use four ENx mics and neither has ANC. For iPhone users neither has a special edge; both are plain Bluetooth 5.4 earbuds.
If we had to pick one for most buyers, we’d take the Airdopes 141 Gen 2. It’s usually the cheaper pair, it lasts longer and charges faster in a hurry. Pay the small extra for the 219 only if lower latency and bigger drivers matter to you.
Sound, drivers and EQ
The clearest hardware difference is the driver. The Airdopes 219 uses 13mm dynamic drivers, while the 141 Gen 2 uses 10mm drivers (boAt writes this as “10mm*2”, which means one 10mm driver in each earbud, not two per bud). A bigger driver doesn’t automatically sound better, but at this price it usually means more bass punch, and boAt tunes both pairs with its bass-heavy Signature Sound.
The 141 Gen 2 has one trick the 219 doesn’t list: dual EQ modes. You can switch between boAt’s punchy Signature mode and a smoother Balanced mode with a tap, which helps if you find boAt’s default tuning too boomy for podcasts or old Hindi songs. The 219’s official page talks only about Signature Sound. The 219’s Amazon title mentions app support, but boAt’s own spec sheet doesn’t list an app for either pair, so don’t buy either one expecting a custom EQ app.
Neither pair has active noise cancellation or a transparency mode. If you want ANC at a similar budget, read our realme Buds T310 vs OnePlus Nord Buds 3r comparison, where the realme offers 46dB ANC.
Battery life and charging
This is where the Airdopes 141 Gen 2 wins. boAt rates it at up to 48 hours of total playback with the case, against 40 hours for the Airdopes 219. The hardware explains it: 40mAh cells in each earbud and a 450mAh case on the 141 Gen 2, against 35mAh buds and a 400mAh case on the 219. ASAP Charge also favours the 141 Gen 2, with 10 minutes of charging giving about 180 minutes of playback, against 120 minutes on the 219.
The 219 hits back on charging time. Its case is rated to fill up in 1 hour 45 minutes, against up to 2.5 hours for the 141 Gen 2, and its earbuds take 35 minutes against 30. In real life, 40 hours vs 48 hours means charging the case roughly once a week vs a little less often for a normal commute-and-calls routine. Both charge over USB Type-C; boAt recommends a 5V/2A adapter.
Calls, gaming and connectivity
For calls, both pairs use the same formula on paper: four microphones with boAt’s ENx environmental noise cancellation, which tries to cut traffic and crowd noise from your voice. boAt doesn’t publish any call-quality numbers, and we haven’t tested them, so we can’t honestly call one better for calls. If calling is your top priority, both are fine budget options; spend more only if you need ANC for your own listening.
For gaming and video, the Airdopes 219 has the edge. Its BEAST mode is rated at 45ms latency, against 65ms on the 141 Gen 2. That 20ms gap won’t matter for music or calls, but it can make footsteps and gunshots feel a little more in sync in mobile games, and lip-sync a little tighter on videos.
Both connect over Bluetooth 5.4 with boAt’s IWP (Insta Wake N’ Pair), so they reconnect when you open the case lid. boAt doesn’t list dual-device (multipoint) pairing for either pair, so assume one phone at a time. Both are IPX4, which covers sweat and light splashes, not swimming or washing under a tap.
Warranty, where to buy and price tips
We link the Airdopes 141 Gen 2 to boAt’s own store and the Airdopes 219 to Amazon India, because those are the listings where we could read a live price today. That affects warranty. boAt’s site says products bought there from 15 April 2025 get a 12-month standard warranty plus a 3-month extension (15 months total), if the unit has a serial number on the product or box. The Amazon listing for the 219 states a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.
Both carry an MRP of ₹3,990, but nobody pays that; the real selling price changes often during sales. We re-check both prices every day, and you can see the history on our Airdopes 141 Gen 2 deal page and Airdopes 219 deal page. Before you buy, look at today’s coupons, our boAt deals and Amazon deals, or browse all electronics deals. Got a bit more budget? How we compared them
We read both products’ live store pages during this update for price, MRP and stock, and took every spec from boAt’s official product page, boAt’s support spec table and the store listings. Where Amazon’s auto-generated spec table disagreed with boAt’s own sheet (driver size and latency for the 219), we used boAt’s figures. We don’t use star ratings or review counts, and we haven’t lab-tested either pair, so there are no sound scores here, only published specs and what they mean for you.
