The realme Buds T310 is built around noise cancellation. Its 46dB hybrid ANC uses feed-forward and feedback mics together, and the realme Link app (Android and iOS) lets you switch between noise cancellation, transparency and normal modes and set how strong the ANC is. That makes a real difference on a Delhi Metro ride or a noisy office floor.
To get that, you give up some battery. realme quotes about 9 hours per charge with ANC off but about 6 hours with it on, and 40 hours in total with the case (ANC off). A 10-minute charge gives about 5 hours. The 3 mics per earbud are one more than OnePlus uses, which helps on calls in traffic.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 3r goes the other way: no ANC at all, but much better battery. OnePlus rates it at 12 hours per charge and 54 hours with the case, and 10 minutes of charging gives about 8 hours of music. In daily use that means charging the case maybe once a week.
Each earbud weighs just 4.5g, so they’re comfortable for long sessions, and you still get Bluetooth 5.4, Google Fast Pair, dual-device connection, a 47ms low-latency mode and IP55. With a OnePlus phone you also get 3D spatial audio and AI translation (tap the earbud to translate a conversation through the phone). On other phones, the HeyMelody app handles EQ and controls.
Its 2-mic AI call noise cancellation cleans up your voice on calls, but it doesn’t block outside noise for you.

Who should buy it: You mostly listen at home, in the office or at the gym, hate charging gadgets, or already use a OnePlus phone.
Verdict: which one should you buy?
Get the realme Buds T310 if you travel daily by metro, bus, train or plane, or work somewhere noisy. 46dB hybrid ANC at this price is the main reason to buy it, and the extra mic per earbud helps on calls from the road. Accept that you’ll charge the case more often.
Get the OnePlus Nord Buds 3r if you mainly listen at home, in the office or at the gym, want the longest battery per charge (12 hours), or already use a OnePlus phone and want spatial audio and AI translation. It’s also the lighter pair for long wear.
For gaming they’re practically equal (45ms vs 47ms). For iPhone users both are limited to AAC, but realme’s app works fully on iOS, which gives the T310 a slight edge.
If we had to pick one for most Indian buyers in 2026, we’d go with the realme Buds T310. ANC is the one feature you can’t add later, while the OnePlus’s extra battery mostly saves you a few extra charges a week.
Sound and noise cancellation
Both pairs use 12.4mm dynamic drivers with a titanium-treated diaphragm, and both are tuned for punchy bass, which is what most Indian buyers in this segment want. Both are limited to SBC and AAC codecs, so neither has a quality edge from the codec. Any sound difference will come down to tuning and fit, and both apps include an EQ to adjust it.
The big difference is ANC. realme’s 46dB hybrid ANC is among the strongest claims in the under-₹2,000 segment, and you can also switch to transparency mode to hear announcements. The OnePlus has no ANC, so you only get whatever noise the silicone tips block. If you’ve never used ANC, it’s the feature that makes a 45-minute metro ride noticeably less tiring.
Battery life and charging
This is where the OnePlus clearly wins. OnePlus rates the Nord Buds 3r at 12 hours per charge and 54 hours with the case, against about 9 hours (ANC off) and 40 hours for the realme. Turn the realme’s ANC on and it drops to about 6 hours per charge. Fast charging also favours OnePlus: 10 minutes gives 8 hours, against 5 hours on the realme.
In practice both will get through a normal workday. The OnePlus just needs charging less often, and it’s the better pick for long travel days.
Calls, gaming and connectivity
For calls, the realme uses 3 mics per earbud with AI ENC, while the OnePlus uses 2 mics with AI call noise cancellation, so the realme has more hardware for noisy roads. Both support dual-device pairing on Bluetooth 5.4, so you can stay connected to a laptop and a phone at once. Both have a low-latency mode (45ms vs 47ms) that is good enough for casual BGMI or Free Fire.
OnePlus adds Google Fast Pair (one-tap pairing on Android) and Find My Earbuds, and AI translation if you have a OnePlus phone. realme gives you the fuller app experience on iPhone.
